Prestwich Carnival & Grand Parade are the final events for Prestwich Festival

The Carnival itself is the biggest event in the prestwich diary, with around 25,000 people visiting last year.

Its a  Prestwich tradition that has become a way of life for us all.

I am proud to be at the helm this year in what wil be the
88th year of The Carnival, who’s success is down to one thing,
the generosity and good nature of you, the good people of Prestwich.

The event is organised by The Sunshine Team who work all year behind the scenes to create an action packed weekend.

The influx and activity of so many people over two days is great for the local economy and Prestwich in general.

We hope to make this year the best yet, so dont stand on the side, come and get involved, but most importantly enjoy yourselves.
